For the ones who travel to feel alive
Places you come back to, each shaped by its surroundings and history, all built on the same four things.
What we are building
A hotel brand founded by Lygia and Alex. We start in Italy, in historic places, and take the idea wherever it fits next.
01 · The first placeA village in Italy that has stood for centuries, restored to its former state: stone buildings among olive terraces, calm and minimal inside, open all year.
02 · The ideaHotels that leave you better than they found you. Design that engages every sense, hosting that is quietly personal, and moments that bring people together, composed as one, so you feel good from the moment you arrive.

Lygia & Alex
Hi there,
If you're a little like us, you plan trips around a feeling more than a place. You notice the light in a room before anything else. And you've come home from some holidays more tired than when you left, and from a rare few feeling like yourself again.
We've spent our working lives in hotels, on sets and on the road, looking for those rare few. Honestly, what they had in common was small. Being known by name. Sleeping well. Food that tasted of where we were. Someone who noticed what we needed before we had to ask.
So we found a place that has stood for centuries, somewhere in Italy, and we're restoring it into a hotel built around those things. Slowly, and in the open, because we'd rather take the time it takes than get it almost right.
We'll write when there's something real to share. We'd love for you to stay close.
Four things we care about more than anything. When they're right, you feel it.
We host, rather than serve. You are known by name from the first morning and remembered between stays, by the same few faces throughout. Nothing is scripted: a coffee made the way you take it, a table kept in the shade, a walk suggested when the light is right. Attention that is quietly personal, and never in the way.
We design for how a place feels, not only how it looks. Historic buildings are restored with care, with calm, minimal interiors and fewer, better things inside. Light follows the day, sound and music are chosen for each hour, and scent, texture and furniture are made to be lived with. Each hotel takes its character from its surroundings and history, so no two look the same, yet every one feels like Solar.
Wellness here is how the day runs, not a menu to book. Ancient ritual meets modern science: light, sound, scent, movement and food, composed so the place itself slows you down. Rooms follow the rhythm of the day, so you sleep deeply and wake with the light.
Every place has a culture worth sharing. We cook with what grows around us, work with local makers and craftspeople, and let the table change with the season. Long dinners, harvests and evenings that bring people together are part of the stay. You leave knowing the place, not just having seen it.
